“ I had heard many stories about how great this restaurant was from various people. I finally had a chance to experience it firsthand this weekend. I was pleased to see the menu had a wide variety of choices. They provide freshly made bread rolls and dipping plates of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. This was a very delicious pre-meal treat. I decided to start with my go-to - spaghetti and meat sauce. it was a very good spaghetti and meat sauce. This sauce was clearly homemade and extremely tasty. The portion size was very generous. Many restaurants I frequent, the portion size has become very small but this was a decent size amount of spaghetti for a reasonable price. I noticed that they have linguine puttanesca on the menu. When I return, that will be my choice. I have not been able to get that at my restaurants that I go to since the pandemic and this restaurant, I believe, will do a great job of that dish. My spouse ordered eggplant parmesan. She reports that it was extremely tasty. It was served with a side order of spaghetti. One of the members of our party ordered beef tenderloin which we thought was an unusual choice in an Italian restaurant. He reported that it was very good. He said it was better than many steakhouses. It also came with a side order of spaghetti. In summary, the service was excellent, the food was great, the atmosphere was excellent. ”
“ We recently catered our awards luncheon with Cafe Amore, and it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious spread. The staff at Cafe Amore were equally impressive. They were professional, friendly, and attentive, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. They arrived on time and set everything up perfectly, allowing us to focus on our event without any worries. Overall, Cafe Amore exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend them for any event, big or small. Thank you, Cafe Amore, for making our luncheon a memorable one! ”
“ Today was a bittersweet day(national sibling day). My friend humored me and said yes to my dinner date. I'm so glad I went. She and her fiance enjoyed dinner (first timers), so I'm definitely going back. I'm happy to be next to Cafe Amore! Food will always be superb! We got chicken Primavera, chicken fettuccine, and lobster ravioli. Also, I got to help a gentleman that t fell down. I'm glad he was ok! Hope Cafe Amore continues to be around, my daughter ate everything! ”
“ Amore has the best Italian vibe, this side of the Atlantic Ocean. The atmosphere is cozy, it's the next best thing to having an Italian ''Nonna'' (means Grandma) in your house. The servers are courteous and attentive, but not so attentive that they'd ask you ''how is everything?'' just when you started chewing a spoonful of spaghetti. The food is good, tastes homemade. And the portions are generous. The first thing I noticed were the real, red and pink fresh flowers adorning the tables. Very nice touch! And not to be missed were the Roman arches and columns that adorn Rome, Florence, and anywhere within a thousand miles of the Mediterranean (or 'Mare Nostrum'', Our Sea, as the Ancient Italians used to call it!). But then I noticed the art, and oh, what a great moment that was! Huge paintings after the Italian Renaissance masters, My favorite was the Venetian gondolas by Giovanni Antonio Canaletto. But then I noticed the sculptures after Michelangelo, and ''The Touch of God'' painting after the fresco from the Sistine Chapel. ''Amore'' is the right name for this restaurant, because you're sure to fall in love with the ambiance, the service, the food, or maybe even with the person sitting across from you! ”
“ This is some of the best Italian food in the area! We have been dining here for years both in the dining room as well as for takeout. Family owned so they get to know you and make you feel like family too. Texans by way of New York so we’re fairly picky about pizza, but Cafe Amore hits the spot every time. Thin crust, lots of cheese, and just yummy deliciousness. Pasta dishes have always been good as well. Glad to have a great place for italian close to home. ”
“ There bread was delicious! They had an amazing olive oil vinaigrette dip for the bread. The entrees had so much flavor. Drinks were kept refilled. Decent service for a busy restaurant on a Friday evening. Prices are very responsible. They are BYOB. Elegant looking inside. We just found our new spot. ”
“ This restaurant is a neighborhood gem...!!! Great Italian food and BYOB (bring your own bottle). We have come to this great neighborhood Italian restaurant for about 25 years. Family owned and operated closely with pride, quality food and good service. It gets crowded at peak hours so plan accordingly when you come. This restaurant is a favorite with the senior crowd. Good food and good value. Wishing you many more years of success The pizza we had tonight was fabulous. They also have a great take out business. ”
“ Wow! Our first taste of Cafe Amore’s pizza and we’re in love. They were able to make my idea of the perfect pizza: olive oil and garlic foundation, eggplant, artichoke, and mozzarella toppings. The mozzarella was wonderfully stringy. My husband had his usual red sauce with his pepperoni, mushrooms, and onion toppings. He, too, enjoyed it. Oh, I forgot to mention the crust. It’s soft just the way I like it. Update: Mama Mia...that’s some good pizza! We keep going back for our pizzas. Right now we enjoying the Supreme pizza with everything on it, but my eggplant and artichokes. Another update: if management reads this review you need to talk to your pizza maker. If a customer is waiting for their pizza as soon as you finish putting it in the box, announce to your waiting customers that it’s done. My husband is getting really annoyed when the pizza gets put on the pizza oven without a shoutout of his name. In fact last week he bought pizza elsewhere. Update: The owners have gotten their act together and they now announce when a pizza/other dishes are ready. Yayyyyy! ”
